inDemic is a multidisciplinary team of scientists, physicians, and epidemiologists working to provide curated information and analysis on COVID-19 in the US and internationally. Our initial focus is to provide timely updates on the COVID-19 therapeutics landscape and vaccine pipeline.
inDemic Perspectives
In “inDemic Perspectives”, we provide expert commentary on COVID-19 challenges and solutions. It is written with input from our scientific advisory board, which has decades of collective experience in critical care medicine, viral epidemiology, and microbiology. Our perspectives highlight broad issues spanning drug development, vaccine deployment, public health policy, and much more.
We have also recently begun conducting video interviews with our expert contributors. Check the inDemic Perspectives page or our Twitter @inDemicAlerts for these interviews to learn about the most pressing pandemic topics and to hear about the research that our contributors are conducting.
inPhronesis
inPhronesis is our platform for displaying more detailed analysis and research updates on COVID-19 topics. Users can sign up for free by providing an email address, and opt to receive email alerts as clinical and scientific data become available.
View therapies by patient segment (severity of disease), by mechanism of action (e.g. anti-viral vs. immunomodulatory), and by availability (including time-to-market for developmental therapies).
Users can also view vaccines by path-to-approval and a detailed timeline for the lead vaccine candidates.
Fun fact: phronesis is Greek for “practical wisdom.”
